Lamont Dance Studio has a lot to offer with 3 fully equipped studios in Avalon featuring a tarkett dance floor, mirrors, barres, sound systems and cooling. Styles range from our "Baby Ballerina's" (3 year olds) through to our "Advanced Senior Classes". Classes offered are: Classical Ballet (RAD), Modern Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Disco Kids, Baby Ballerina's, Boys Funk and Eisteddfod Classes.

2010 enrolments on Monday January 25th between 9am to 5pm. Alternatively you can complete the enrolment form on both sides and post to - PO BOX 188 AVALON, NSW 2107

term dates for 2010

Term 1 Dates: Friday 29th January- Thursday 1st April – 9 weeks
Term 2 Dates: Monday 19th April – Saturday 3rd July – 11 weeks
Term 3 Dates: Monday 19th July - Saturday 25th September – 10 weeks
Term 4 Dates: Monday 11th October – Saturday 4th December – 8 weeks & rehearsals – 10 week charge

contacting the office

Our office is situated separate from the studio; therefore, all contact must be made by phone 9918 7304 or by mail. The official office hours are Monday and Tuesday 9.00am - 5.00pm however our answering machine is checked daily and calls are returned as soon as possible.

payment options

Payments can be made by

Internet Banking - LDS account details are situated at the bottom of each invoice. It is imperative you quote your invoice number and child's name when making a payment.
Credit card - Visa and MasterCard can be made over the phone or with your LDS payment form filled out and sent to the school. Minimum amount $25. We are happy to keep your credit card details on file for automatic debit each term. An additional 2% will be charged for all credit card transactions.
Cheque - Cheques should be made payable to Lamont Dance Studio and be accompanied by an LDS payment form. Posted, or given to a teacher at LDS.
Cash - place your payment form and money in a labeled envelope and hand it to the class teacher or placed in the secure communication/fees box at the studio.

open day dates

An annual Open Day will be held on the Saturday 26th June, allowing parents and friends the opportunity to enjoy the students’ work to date. Presentation week will be held from Monday 28th June to Saturday 3rd of July.

newsletters

We issue newsletters in each term to keep you informed on upcoming events. They are issued with your term invoice or distributed in class. Parents must read these to keep up to date.

performance groups

Performance Groups represent the school in various eisteddfods, competitions and productions throughout the year. To enter Performance Groups, an audition will be held mid year, after this time by invitation only.

solos

Students wishing to compete and perform in eisteddfods in a solo category should notify staff or the office of their desires.
